After Memorial Day storm damage in Pantego, firefighters are sharing tips with North Texans to prepare during severe weather season.

The first broad mosquito spraying will be next Thursday, May 28, between 9:30 and 11:30 PM (weather permitting). Residents are urged to stay inside along with their pets during this time.

There has been significant storm damage to the Planet Fitness facade. Pantego Fire Department is on site as are news media. Thankfully, there are no known resulting injuries.

Electric service has been removed, pending review of the situation by Oncor.

Please avoid the area at this time.
