Bill Kinsaul was elected Bay County Clerk of Court & Comptroller in 2008 and has dedicated his career to serving the citizens of Bay County with professionalism and transparency. The Clerk’s office is responsible for maintaining all court records, serving as County Recorder and Comptroller, and providing financial oversight as treasurer and secretary to the Board of County Commissioners. Guided by our mission to provide exceptional service, our team strives to make every interaction respectful, accurate, and efficient. Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the countless heroes who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember the first responders, firefighters, law enforcement officers, military members, volunteers, and ordinary citizens who demonstrated extraordinary courage and selflessness.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Celebrating 15 Years of Service! ✨

Sometimes, the most amazing employees are the ones working quietly behind the scenes—never seeking recognition, but consistently showing up, doing exceptional work, and making a difference every single day.

Today, we’re celebrating Kristi Mabire and her incredible 15 years of dedicated service to the Bay County Clerk of Court & Comptroller’s Office! 🎉

Over the years, Kristi has served in several important roles, including Dependency Court Clerk, Juvenile Clerk, Child Support Clerk, and in our Board Finance Office. No matter the role, she has always brought dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to doing quality work.

Kristi may shy away from the spotlight, but today the spotlight belongs to her!

Today, we pause to recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and contributions of workers in Bay County and across our great nation.

Whether you’re spending the day relaxing with family, enjoying time with friends, or simply taking a well-deserved break, we hope you have a safe and wonderful Labor Day.

Our offices will be closed Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day, and will reopen Tuesday, September 8, for normal business hours.

The Bay County Clerk of Court and Comptroller will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of Labor Day.

We will reopen on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, for our normal business hours.
