Panama City Rescue Mission

Panama City Rescue Mission We are a faith based non-profit organization offering homeless services. Our women's campus is Gateway Women's & Children's Shelter. Panama City, FL 32401.

Panama City Rescue Mission provides emergency services (food, shelter, clothing), transitional housing, advocacy/referrals, a Christian setting, and special outreaches to homeless and needy men, women, and children of the central panhandle of Florida. Women and children are housed separate from the men, who are housed at the downtown campus. The address to the Women's & Children's Shelter is 1313

E. 11th St. What makes Panama City Rescue Mission different from all of the secular programs that help the homeless? It is the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ as exhibited by lives that are permanently changed by an encounter with the Living God.

This morning, a group from MT Zion United Methodist Church in Georgia volunteered with us to sort canned goods from the Stamp Out Hunger food drive! We appreciate their help so much, as we still have hundreds of bins of food to be sorted!

Thank y'all so much for volunteering your time with us while you're here on vacation. What a blessing! ❤

We have an immediate need for fruit cups, individual bags of chips, granola bars, and vienna sausages!

While our last food drive supplied us with canned/boxed goods to last us for months to come, we have been struggling to receive snack donations. These items are distributed Tuesday - Friday in our food bags. We've been averaging at least 60 people per day with these bags of food.

Any support is greatly appreciated and is going directly to individuals and families who are struggling with food security.

Items can be dropped off at our Men's Facility, or they can be purchased off of our Amazon Wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/8EIE4EV7WYL9?ref_=wl_share
