The K9 team would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Sergeant Jeff Duggins, and K9s Ronnie and Reagan, on their well-deserved retirement. Jeff has dedicated an incredible 30 years to the K9 unit, and throughout that time, he has been an invaluable mentor, sharing his expertise and knowledge with all of us. His leadership has shaped us, and the lessons he imparted will continue to guide us for years to come. Jeff, your contributions to the team are immeasurable, and we are committed to carrying on your legacy, using the skills and wisdom you’ve passed down to make us stronger and more effective in our mission. It's been a fun ride, both Ronnie and Reagan will retire today after this last shift. K9 Reagan with over 12 years of service and K9 Ronnie with just short of 9 years, both exceeding their service life. They will now rest easy at home to enjoy their senior years. These are pictures of Reagan at 1 1/2 yo and Ronnie at 10 months, when they first teamed up with their handler, and today bringing it to a close...way too many memories...
