📺 THE JUNIOR LEAGUE DIAPER BANK DRIVE IS IN THE NEWS!

A huge thank-you to WJHG, especially Shaun and Lexie, for visiting the Junior League office today to help shine a light on our Diaper Bank Drive!

They spoke with our Diaper Bank Chair, Sarah Rackley, and our Vice President of Fund Development, Anna Katherine Pickle, about diaper need in our community and why this annual drive is so important.

Nearly 1 in 2 U.S. families with young children experiences diaper need. Diapers are essential to keeping babies clean, dry and healthy, but they are expensive and are not covered by many traditional assistance programs. Every package donated helps the Junior League of Panama City provide this basic necessity to local families through our community partners.

When you donate diapers during our community-wide drive, your contribution stays local and helps families served by our trusted partner agencies.

You can help by:

Diapers are not a luxury—they are a basic necessity directly connected to a baby’s health and well-being.

The Junior League of Panama City established its Diaper Bank in 2015, and today we distribute approximately 7,000 diapers each month through local partner agencies serving families throughout our community.

That need continues to grow, and we cannot do this work without your help.

Please consider donating diapers in any size during our community-wide drive through September 20. Every package helps us provide one more family with the essentials their baby needs.

WHAT IS DIAPER NEED?

Diaper need is the inability to afford enough diapers to keep a baby clean, dry and healthy—and it affects nearly one in two U.S. families with young children.

Without an adequate supply of diapers, parents may be forced to make impossible choices between purchasing diapers and paying for other necessities. Diaper need can also prevent parents from attending work or school when child care providers require families to supply diapers.

You can help local families by donating diapers to the Junior League of Panama City Diaper Drive through September 20!

A package of diapers may seem like a small gift, but to a family in need, it can provide comfort, dignity and peace of mind. ❤️

The Junior League of Panama City is kicking off our community-wide Diaper Drive in recognition of National Diaper Need Awareness Week, September 14–20!

Diapers are an essential need for every baby, but far too many families struggle to afford an adequate supply. This week, we invite our members, friends and community partners to help us stock the JLPC Diaper Bank and support local families.

Purchase diapers in any size and drop them off at one of these participating locations through September 20:

Our newest Junior League of Panama City members gathered for a wonderful New Member Meeting at St. Andy's Sports Pub !

A very special thank-you to St. Andy’s for welcoming our members, hosting us and supporting the League through Brunch Fest. We were so happy to return that support while spending time together and continuing our New Member journey.
