✨ What a wonderful evening at our Junior League of Panama City Open House at Nilly’s on Navy! ✨
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of conversation, connection, and learning more about what it means to be a part of the Junior League of Panama City. We loved meeting so many inspiring women who are interested in making a positive impact in our community through volunteer action, collaboration, and leadership development. 💛

A special thank you to Nilly’s on Navy for hosting us so warmly and helping create such a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

We are already looking forward to welcoming our 2026 New Member Class and are excited about the passion, talent, and enthusiasm these future members will bring to our organization! ✨

We are so proud of our own Emily Syfrett! 🎉

Emily has been named Conference Chair for the 2026–2027 Junior Leagues of Florida State Public Affairs Committee (JLFL S**C) Board of Directors — a statewide leadership role that speaks volumes about the dedication and heart she brings to this organization every single day.

JLFL S**C brings together leaders from across Florida who are committed to advocacy, collaboration, and meaningful impact at the state level. Emily is exactly the kind of woman built for that work. We can't wait to watch her shine! 🌟

What an honor to have President AJ Haro and Sustainer Stacie Galbreath represent the Junior League of Panama City at Annual Conference in Indianapolis! 🌟

They returned home full of inspiration, invaluable learning, and meaningful connections with Junior League leaders from across the country.

Thank you both for bringing that energy and knowledge back to our league and community!

A heartfelt thank you to our S**C committee for their incredible dedication this spring! 🌸

Their cleaning supply drive made a real difference for youth aging out of foster care. Young adults stepping into independence deserve every bit of support we can offer. We’re so proud of the heart and hard work behind this project!

Meet Anna Katherine Pickle, our VP of Fund Development! She is finishing up her fourth year in the Junior League of Panama City 🌟

Anna Katherine came to JLPC the way so many of our members do — new to the area, eager to learn about her community, and looking for real connections. What she found was a League that recognized her from the start. Her very first year, she was named New Member of the Year. By her third year, Past President Rebecca Windham presented her with the Spirit of Laura Bush Award, an honor that caught her off guard both times, and that she says served as a beautiful reminder of why she volunteers and the impact one person can have in a community.

Her favorite placement has been chairing Holly Fair Auction… a role she loved so much she did it two years in a row! Between coordinating with businesses, connecting with members, and watching the whole event come together, it gave her a front row seat to everything that makes Holly Fair so special. Busy? Absolutely. Worth it? Every time.

Now in her fourth year, Anna Katherine serves as our VP of Fund Development, overseeing the fundraising and sponsor relationships that make our community impact possible, and she’ll be returning to that role next year as well.

The League has given her some of her closest friendships, helped grow her photography business, and surrounded her with support through some of life’s most meaningful moments, including the births of her second and third daughters.

Her advice to anyone considering joining: Come with an open heart and mind. This organization is full of women from all walks of life, working together to do something really beautiful for Bay County.

Four years in, and she’s only getting started. We are so glad you found us, Anna Katherine. 💛

The Junior League of Panama City is bursting with pride for one of our own.

After 12 years of dedicated service to this league, from her work on our S**C committee to her role on the nominating committee and so much more, Alicia Carothers is stepping into sustainer status in the most extraordinary way.

Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed Alicia as a County Judge for Bay County, a testament to a career built on integrity, service, and a deep commitment to this community.

A graduate of Faulkner University School of Law and licensed in Florida for 13 years, Alicia has spent her career in government and municipal law, most recently serving as Deputy County Attorney for Bay County.

Alicia, the leadership and dedication you poured into this league for over a decade is the same spirit you’ve carried into every courtroom and every community you’ve served. We have no doubt the bench of Bay County is in exceptional hands.

Congratulations, Judge Carothers… We are so proud of you! ⚖️

We are excited to celebrate David DuBois, the Bay County Council on Aging’s Volunteer of the Year!

David has been a dedicated Meals on Wheels volunteer since 2019, running two routes a week and serving 17 clients — twice a week, every week, for seven years.

We’re proud to partner with the Council on Aging through our Elderly Outreach program, and David is a shining example of why this work matters.

Congratulations, David — Bay County is better because of you. 💛
