We are monitoring the potential for severe weather across the area on Wednesday. While some questions remain regarding the exact setup, it appears we could see some rather robust storms develop.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as confidence in the forecast increases.

We will see a high around 84 today with thunderstorms possible. The SPC has our area under a Slight Risk for severe storms, with the potential for damaging winds up to 70 mph.

Thunderstorms are expected to be scattered, so not everyone will see a storm. However, any storm that develops could become severe.

We are watching the potential for severe thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon and evening across the area.

Long range HRRR model wants to bring storms into the area around 1:00 PM with a large hail and damaging winds threat.

If going to the Pana Fairground for the Family Fun Day be weather aware through the day.
