The Pamplin Town Council will hold a public hearing about the proposed FY26-27 Budget on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 5:30p.m. at the Pamplin Train Depot, 115 Main Street, Pamplin, VA 23958.

The Town Office has been experiencing loss of internet and phone services this afternoon. Payments for delinquent water bills will be accepted up to 3:00 pm tomorrow without late penalties due to the unforseen outage. Thank you all for your continued patience while we work on getting this issue fixed.

UPDATE: The trailer has been moved. Thank you to all who assisted us in locating and contacting the owner.

This trailer has been parked in the Town’s Main Street lot since Saturday. Please have it removed by Thursday, May 14th to avoid it being towed at the owner's expense.

NOTICE: IMPORTANT DATES IN MAY
May 14th: Council Meeting at 5:30 in the Museum Room of Depot; tax rates and impact of 2026 assessment values will be discussed.

May 15th-May 22nd: Town Office will be closed. Reopening for normal hours May 26th at noon. May's Utility Bills will not post until the 27th to allow past due amounts to process without incurring late penalties. Please make sure your bill is paid by end of day May 26th. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

May 21st: Trash Pickup will occur in the afternoon instead of in the morning.

ATTENTION:
TOWN OFFICE STAFF WILL BE UNAVAILABLE FROM 1:00PM to 3:00PM TODAY, MAY 1, 2026 WHILE THE SCHEDULED DUMPSITE WORKSHOP IS IN SESSION IN THE DEPOT FREIGHT ROOM
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Payments can still be placed in the secure drop box by the staff entrance steps and will be processed as soon as the meeting is over.
As a reminder, the workshop will discuss the future of a 12-acre parcel owned by the Town of Pamplin City, formerly known as the town dump on Vaughn Lane. An environmental site assessment and a market assessment have been completed for the area. We will discuss these as part of the conversation around possible future uses for the site. No public commentary will be taken at this meeting as it is for informational purposes only. A public hearing will be scheduled in future months if and when needed to allow citizens to voice their concerns and questions about this project.
