Our Story

Palos Park First stands for: (1) elected officials who are Passionate about Palos Park, Prepared for their duties to citizens, and Professional in the way they treat each other, staff and our residents (the three “P”s); (2) the protection of open space, the natural features and beauty of Palos Park, as well as the promotion and preservation of the “pastoral setting, rural splendor” of Palos Park; (3) open and inclusive government; (4) conservative stewardship of our Village’s finances and resources; (5) the promotion of small town community events and recreational offerings; (6) the support and promotion of the arts and Palos Park’s tradition as an artist community.
