🚒 May Recap 🚒
We may be a little late getting this posted, but our members stayed busy throughout the month of May!

🔥 May 2 – We held our second Chicken BBQ of the season. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us!

📋 May 7 – Members gathered for our monthly department meeting.

🚪 May 14 – Members trained alongside the Palmyra Fire Department at the training center, working on forcible entry skills, practicing door breaches, and building confidence in a critical firefighting task.
🔥 May 17 – Members conducted a controlled burn of a large brush pile, providing valuable experience in fire behavior and suppression.

🌳 May 21 – Along with the Palmyra Fire Department UTV, members spent time along the canal trail clearing downed trees and improving access for the public.

💦 May 28 – We continued training with our new HEN Nozzle alongside the Palmyra Fire Department, learning more about its capabilities and how it can help us better serve our community.

🎶 May 30 – Members stood by at the Country Music
Festival to assist EMS and help ensure a safe event for everyone attending.

🚙 May 31 – Members participated in additional UTV training with the Palmyra Fire Department, becoming more familiar with the equipment and its use during emergency responses.

Many of our training opportunities throughout the month were conducted alongside the Palmyra Fire Department , and we appreciate the opportunity to train together and strengthen our working relationship.

Whether it's training, community events, maintenance, or emergency response, our volunteers are constantly working to stay prepared when the call comes.

Today, we honor and remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice and dedication will never be forgotten.
