The members of Palmyra Fire pause to remember the lives lost in the attacks upon the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 on this date 25 years ago.

We also remember the sacrifice made by the emergency responders who spent their final moments performing heroic acts in an effort to save the lives of others.

We remember.

We're ready to celebrate with you this weekend! Join us at our pop-up shop in support of Palmyra Fire!

We've got the apparel ready, the food trucks are lined up, and we're bringing the community together for a fun weekend of shopping, great food, and supporting our local hero's.

Stop by the station this Saturday the 15th 5pm-8pm and Sunday the 16th 10am-6pm.
Members will be giving station and apparatus tours for the duration of the the event both days!

A little before midnight the Squad company was dispatched to assist Hershey Volunteer Fire Company with a reported RV fire. Squad 1 arrived to find as such and performed fire attack, ensured nobody was inside, and checked for extension.

Yesterday afternoon Squad 1 as well as Squad 75 out of Fort Indiantown Gap were dispatched to the township for a reported accident with entrapment. Units arrived to find a vehicle into a ditch with the driver still inside. Crews worked together to stabilize the vehicle and remove the drivers door and extricate the patient.

This morning the daylight crew welcomed Miss Paityn and her family for a tour. Paityn hosted a bake sale this spring and donated all proceeds to the department. The department then decided to use the funds to purchase the canopy pictured. This canopy will be perfect for trainings, public events and even on long duration calls. Thank you Paityn for the support!

Weekly scheduled training tonight was the end of several weeks of refreshing and building on vehicle rescue. Crews completed stabilization and extrication scenarios including door removals, roof removals, dash lifts, seat removals, and trunk tunneling. We’d like to give a huge thanks to Blatt & Tillett Truck and Trailer Repair, LLC for providing and delivering these vehicles for us and the continuous support they have always given us over the years. Relationships like this are what allows our volunteers to remain knowledgeable and skillful to serve the community.

Looking to cool off with a refreshing lemonade on this hot and humid day? Be sure to stop by the lemonade stand at Inspire Early Education right by the Weis Markets strip mall! We will be stopping by around 1:00 as well so you may even get a chance to meet your local firefighters and get a tour of the fire engine. See you there!
