REMINDER

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: As we begin the process of ending this school year, please be aware that there will be NO BACKPACKS ALLOWED during the last three days of school:

📌 Tuesday, May 26th
📌 Wednesday, May 27th
📌 Thursday, May 28th

Students who need to bring supplies to school for testing or take classroom items home, may do so with a clear bag.

Also, please remember that the last three days of school are all early release days. Release times are as follows:

1 p.m. for high schools
1:50 p.m. for elementary and K-8 schools
2:40 p.m. for middle schools

🎓✨ 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 — 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗔𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲!

What an incredible year it's been! Our 5th graders have so much to look forward to this final week at Mills Elementary. Here's a rundown of everything coming up:

📅 𝟱/𝟮𝟭 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽: A reminder that this trip is only for students whose parents completed their Level 2 clearance, registered, and paid in advance. If you're unsure of your status, please reach out to the front office.
🍕 𝟱/𝟮𝟮 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆: A fun celebration just for our 5th graders!

We are so proud of this class! Due to limited seating at the venue, attendance is restricted to immediate family members only. We appreciate your understanding as we work to make sure every graduate's family has a seat.

💚🪅 Staff Appreciation Week 🪅💚

Thursday- The Burrito Bowl Bar, catered by Símple, was a crowd favorite! Each member of our staff received a $10 Amazon gift card as well!

Our 5th grade families went all out on donations. Each staff member was able to pick out 2 snacks! 

Friday- McDonald’s Breakfast Burritos and Hash browns made the perfect ending to the fun, week long Fiesta!

We were able to create goody bags full of self care items from all of our Pre-K and Kindergarten donations!

Our hearts are so full from all the love we were able to show our staff this week. Thank you again to all of the families who donated to make this week so special!

To the Mills Staff-  You are shaping more than minds. You are building confidence, inspiring kindness, and making a lasting difference in ways that will carry far beyond the classroom. 💚

💚 Staff appreciation Week 💚

Tuesday- Our staff was treated to a custom Ryan’s Coffee drink! Thank you to Ryan for cranking out all those delicious drinks! 2nd grade families restocked Office Supplies for everyone!

Wednesday- The churro bar was a HIT! Who doesn’t love mini churros?! We paired it with the drinks that were donated by our 1st grade families!

Thank you again to everyone who donated! It’s made this week extra special for our incredible staff! ✨
