Palmetto Bay is a vibrant community of 24,000 residents, nestled between Biscayne National Park and South Dixie Highway, about 15 miles south of downtown Miami. Also known as the Village of Parks, Palmetto Bay is home to several public parks including:

> Ludovici Park
> Perrine Wayside Dog Park
> Thalatta Estate Park

All Palmetto Bay Parks are available for event rentals, particularly Thalatta Estate, South Dade's newest wedding & meeting facility. Please be aware that Miami-Dade County’s installation of the Snowden Pedestrian Bridge is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 13, between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Extended lane closures on Old Cutler Road are not planned. Intermittent closures are possible but unlikely. The pedestrian path may experience intermittent closures while the bridge is being positioned. Please use caution when traveling through the area.
