Spring is the perfect time to start your garden. Gardening can boost your mood, reduce stress and give you fresh vegetables at home. Start small, plant the veggies you love, and watch them grow. Talk with your VA dietitian for tips.

Starting January 2026, Medicare began mailing Medicare Summary Notices (MSNs) to Original Medicare enrollees twice a year, rather than three times a year. The MSN lists all health care services that were billed to Medicare, what Medicare paid, and the maximum amount the enrollee may owe the provider.

MSNs are an important tool to identify improper billing. Advocates can assist their clients with accessing claim information electronically through their Medicare.gov account and by signing up to receive a monthly email with a link to an updated MSN.

If you have questions about your MSN, call Medicare at 1-800-MEDICARE.

Things PennDOT’s online Customer Care Center (customercare.penndot.pa.gov) can’t do:
• Tell you where you misplaced your car keys.
• Get your neighbor to stop parking in “your” spot.
• Teach your 16-year-old to parallel park.

Things it can do:
• Investigate your state roadway concerns and schedule any needed repairs.
