🍀 You did the projects—now get credit for your hard work!
Whether your 4-H year involved baking, horses, photography, livestock, gardening, or something else, it’s time to wrap up your record book!
📅 Due Friday, September 25, by 4:30 PM
📍 MEFEC main office, 1509 S. Georgeson Dr., or your FFA advisor.
📒 What should you turn in?
✅ A completed 4-H record book.
✅ A relevant project insert for EACH project you completed.
✅ A rubric completed by the youth.
Secure everything in a folder, binder, or record book cover—one youth per packet. An official 4-H cover is optional!
Completed record books document your learning and qualify you for project and year completion recognition, including certificates and pins. Baking AND raising chickens? Include an insert for each so both projects count! 🍞🐓
🐐 Auction participants: Your auction contract, livestock insert, youth-completed rubric, and addressed, stamped, UNSEALED thank-you notes are also due September 25. Auction-only paperwork meets auction requirements; a complete 4-H record book is needed for project and year completion recognition. Your livestock insert can serve both purposes!

🏆 Completed 4-H record books automatically enter the district record book contest! The two highest-scoring books in each age division—Junior, Intermediate, and Senior—advance to state.

Join us at the MEFEC main office September 28 and 29, from 3:00–8:00 PM, hopefully wrapping up Tuesday. It’s a great opportunity for new leaders and anyone wanting to learn how record books work. Message us with your availability!
