Today, we remember a day that forever changed our nation.

We remember the lives that were taken too soon. The families who said goodbye that morning without knowing it would be the last time. The first responders who ran toward danger while others ran to safety. And the countless acts of courage, kindness and selflessness that emerged from unimaginable heartbreak.

We remember the fear and sorrow of that day, but we also remember what followed; neighbors helping neighbors, strangers comforting strangers, and a nation coming together as one.

The years may pass, but the lives lost, the sacrifices made and the lessons of September 11 will never be forgotten.

Today, Palmer Township remembers and honors them all.

We will never forget.

Sewer Rate Schedule Update

Payment of the new Palmer Township sewer rate structure is rescheduled for the first quarter of next year, in 2027.
The new rate will be effective October 1, 2026, with billing received in the first quarter of 2027.
Any previously received new structure payments will be credited to your next billing cycle.
We want to clarify that the updated rate will not take effect until the 2027 billing cycle, meaning it will apply only to sewer usage beginning in the fourth quarter of 2026 and will first appear on bills issued in early 2027. Late fees will be waived through December 31, 2026 to ensure no resident is penalized during this transition.
We appreciate residents’ patience as we complete this update and remain committed to providing clear, accurate billing. Please call the Township at 610-253-7191 if you have any questions.

Thank you

MONARCH BUTTERFLIES: AN UP-CLOSE LOOK

Storytelling • Nature Photography • Live Monarch Experience

Discover the amazing world of Monarch butterflies and follow their journey from egg to caterpillar, chrysalis, adult butterfly, and finally release.

Each fall, Monarch butterflies migrate through our area on an incredible journey of 1,200 to 3,000 miles. They are beautiful, important to our ecosystem, and facing serious threats — and you may even find them in your own backyard!

Join local Monarch rearer and nature photographer Lynne Allen, who has spent the last several years raising Monarchs from eggs through release. Lynne will share photographs, storyboards, and her firsthand experiences. If the timing is right, guests may even get an up-close look at a real Monarch chrysalis!

Lynne Namath, a local naturalist, Monarch enthusiast, and member of the Palmer Township Environmental Steering Committee, will also share information about these fascinating insects, the challenges they face, what they need to survive, and their important role in our ecosystem.

This is an informal, interactive program designed for both children and adults — a perfect after-school, before-dinner activity!
