Meet this week’s adorable adoptable pets at the County of Los Angeles Palmdale Animal Care Center (38550 Sierra Highway): 🐾

Meet Mayor (A5778500), a handsome, one-year-old fawn/brown German Shepherd mix.

Brought in as a stray, Mayor is a handsome, happy-go-lucky boy who wags his tail at everyone he meets! He quickly won over the shelter and medical staff with his enthusiastic and friendly demeanor. Mayor is easy to leash and kennel, and he still has plenty of fun, puppy-like energy. In the play yard, he greets other dogs with a loose, wiggly body and loves joining a group of pups for a good game of chase.

Meet Baylee (A5754261), a six-month-old altered female Terrier mix puppy.

Baylee is a sweet, happy little puppy who originally arrived as a stray. She absolutely loves attention and quickly became a fast favorite among the volunteers! She is incredibly friendly and loves to show affection to her handlers and the medical staff. Baylee is easy to leash and loves spending her time in the play yard seeking out pets, love and all the attention she can get.

Meet Rocky (A57778327), a six-year-old male tan/black German Shepherd.

Rocky is a sweet, senior gentleman who was surrendered to the shelter when his previous owners moved. While he has a little bit of difficulty walking, it doesn't slow down his loving spirit. Rocky is a calm, cool dog who loves treats and enjoys hanging out with the volunteers in the yard. He is easy to leash and walk, and loves to peacefully roam and take in the sights. With good nutrition, regular grooming and a loving home, this handsome boy will make a wonderful family pet.

🌟 Rocky qualifies for an adoption fee waiver — his adopter only needs to pay the license fee!

All featured pets are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines. Care Center hours are Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

Adopters of featured pets can receive a FREE goodie bag by contacting Public Safety at 661-267-5234 or [email protected]
