United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire

United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire Non Profit Organization serving children and adults with special needs in the Inland Empire.

United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire (UCPIE), based out of Rancho Mirage, California, was founded in 1985 by volunteers dedicated to cerebral palsy research. UCPIE received the majority of its funding for telethons in its early years. However, because of the great need for support services for individual with disabilities UCPIE quickly involved to provide direct care services. Additionally,

UCPIE expanded it services for individuals with disabilities beyond cerebral palsy. Services were expanded to include children and adults diagnosed with autism, Down’s syndrome, intellectual delay, and epilepsy. Today UCPIE offers In-Home Respite Care serving over 250 families in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, After-School and Summer Programs serving 72 children in the Coachella Valley, Adaptive Sport Opportunities, and Resource and Referral via Facebook, phone, and in person contact, for services not provided by UCPIE.
