United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire

United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire Non Profit Organization serving children and adults with special needs in the Inland Empire.

United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire (UCPIE), based out of Rancho Mirage, California, was founded in 1985 by volunteers dedicated to cerebral palsy research. UCPIE received the majority of its funding for telethons in its early years. However, because of the great need for support services for individual with disabilities UCPIE quickly involved to provide direct care services. Additionally, UCPIE expanded it services for individuals with disabilities beyond cerebral palsy. Services were expanded to include children and adults diagnosed with autism, Down’s syndrome, intellectual delay, and epilepsy. Today UCPIE offers In-Home Respite Care serving over 250 families in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, After-School and Summer Programs serving 72 children in the Coachella Valley, Adaptive Sport Opportunities, and Resource and Referral via Facebook, phone, and in person contact, for services not provided by UCPIE.

💛 Happy Grandparents Day! 💛
Today, we’re celebrating the grandparents who bring so much love, encouragement, and support to their families.
In our UCPIE community, grandparents can play many important roles — from being loving advocates and caregivers for their grandchildren to, sometimes, being the compassionate respite workers who support another family in our community. 👵👴
Whether they’re caring for their own grandchildren, cheering them on, or lending a helping hand to another family, grandparents make a meaningful difference every day.
To all the amazing grandparents in our UCPIE community, thank you for all that you do! 💛✨

We are so excited about UCPIE’s Boogie Nights, Neon Lights Bowl-a-Thon 🎳 next week!
For 36 years, this event has brought our community together to support United Cerebral Palsy of the Inland Empire and the individuals and families we serve. Funds raised help UCPIE provide programs and services that create opportunities for greater independence, inclusion and a true Life Without Limits.
We are incredibly grateful to our Presenting Sponsor, Honda of the Desert, for standing alongside UCPIE and helping make this year’s Bowl-A-Thon possible. Their support is an investment in the individuals we serve and in a more inclusive community for everyone.
Thank you, Honda of the Desert, for helping us keep the ball rolling!

In remembrance of all those that we lost, we will never forget.
