Town of Palm Beach United Way

Town of Palm Beach United Way The Town of Palm Beach United Way is a community impact organization dedicated to improving lives and strengthening our community.

The mission of the Town of Palm Beach United Way is to help people, community wide, improve their quality of life. The Palm Beach Community Chest was founded in 1945, by a group of concerned citizens of Palm Beach for the purpose of raising and distributing funds to charitable organizations. In 2006 we changed our name to the Town of Palm Beach United Way, and for over 68 years the Town of Palm Beach United Way’s purpose has remained constant. We are dedicated to improving people’s lives for the better and making our community stronger. We are all connected in our community. When children succeed, when families are stable, when individuals are healthy, our community is stronger. That’s why the Town of Palm Beach United Way focuses on programs that are the building blocks for a better life: income that can support a family through retirement, a quality education that leads to a stable job, and good health. Our goal is to create long-lasting and measurable changes that improve the quality of life for struggling individuals, families and children in Palm Beach County. We invite you to be a part of the change. Your investment in our community will deliver results that make a difference, and together, we can change the world around us. Together, united, we can inspire hope and create opportunities. That’s what it means to LIVE UNITED.

The people behind the impact. 💚

What does community giving look like in action? Sometimes, it looks like a conversation between the people who give and the people doing the work.

Recently, Publix associates had the opportunity to connect with leaders from three local nonprofits supported through Town of Palm Beach United Way: Todd L'Herrou of Center for Family Services, Owen O'Neill of Clinics Can Help, and Ali Eger of Opportunity Early Childhood Education & Family Center. They shared firsthand stories about the people they serve, the work happening in our community and the difference that local support can make.

Last year, Publix Palm Beach associates contributed $30,000 to Town of Palm Beach United Way, with Publix Super Market Charities adding another $20,000 to support our community.

We’re grateful for the generosity of Publix associates—and for the opportunity to bring them closer to the people and organizations their giving helps support.

Thank you, Publix, for helping us ! 💚

Together, we make an impact. 💙

We’re excited to kick off a new year with our 2026–2027 Business & Professional Committee!

Chaired by Carrie Bradburn of Capehart Photography, this dedicated group of 27 local business and professional leaders is coming together to help strengthen our community and support people in need across Palm Beach County.

Through corporate giving, employee campaigns, workplace drives, volunteering and more, the Business & Professional Committee helps connect our local business community with the work of Town of Palm Beach United Way.

Last year, the Business Campaign raised $460,818 to support vital programs throughout Palm Beach County. This year, the committee is working toward an even bigger goal of $461,000.

We’re grateful for their leadership, commitment, and willingness to put their time, talents and connections to work for our community. Thank you for helping us create measurable, lasting change! 💙
