Dear Esteemed JOTPB Family, As we embark on this new year, I would like to take a moment to express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation to each of you for your tireless efforts in making 2025 a resounding success and a year to remember. In reflecting on our accomplishments, I would like to highlight some of our notable achievements: * We successfully provided sustenance to vulnerable citizens experiencing homelessness. * At our Grand Gala, we honored over 200 women who have made significant contributions to the lives of others. * We offered complimentary mental health assessments, counseling, and medical assessments and treatment. * We brought joy to children in our adopted island of Jamaica by distributing over 800 backpacks filled with school supplies. * Other initiatives in Jamaica included donating a computer to Niagara Primary & Infant School, blessing the Montego Bay Infirmary with essential supplies, and preparing hurricane relief shipments. * We awarded two Palm Beach County students with $2000 scholarships each. * We organized and participated in awareness walks for domestic violence. * We hosted our Annual Independence church service. * We enjoyed socialization and relaxation during our Atlantic and Caribbean cruise. * We attended the Father Ho Lung Musical in Broward County. * We honored the Free Spirit Outreach Community Service Awards. * We attended the CAFCI Friendship Ball. * Through collaborative efforts with our partner organizations, we shipped a container to Jamaica with hurricane relief supplies, including over 400 tarpaulins, medical supplies,water and non-perishable food items. * I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for your empathy and support during times of need and the cherished memories we've created throughout 2025. * May 2026 bring us greater productivity and success! In June 2025, we resumed our back-to-school initiatives in Jamaica, visiting four schools nationwide and distributing a total of 668 backpacks with supplies. The staffs were also given gifts as a token of appreciation. For all their hard work of nurturing the students. We also visited an infirmary and provided residents with walkers, a wheelchair, and diapers. On Saturday, July 12th, we hosted our 29th annual community health fair and back-to-school event in Florida. Some of the services we offered included free 3D mammograms, HIV testing, immunizations, and physical examinations for both adults and children.

Today, both VPs , two of our liaisons Ms Lorna and myself went to the homeless shelter and handed out toiletries, water , Gatorade, and Jamaican chicken and beef patties. We served over 50 meals to persons who are living on the sidewalk outside of the shelter. Thanks to the team for all your help today. It's surely great to be a blessing to those in need.
