Villages of Hope is a sister-entity of Place of Hope providing independent living residential support and essential life-skills development for emancipated foster youth, homeless youth, single moms with kids and human trafficking survivors. Villages of Hope is an affiliate of Place of Hope and has been organized to provide independent living, residential support, and essential life-skills developm

Joann's Cottage is a faith-based, family-style maternity home for girls providing comprehensive care for young mothers and young mothers-to-be. The maternity home operates at a secured location in a traditional family neighborhood, welcoming girls into a safe, healthy, and productive environment 24 hours a day/seven days a week.

⛪💙 Focus on Faith

At Place of Hope, we are incredibly grateful for the churches, synagogues, temples, and faith communities that faithfully support our mission.

Through prayer, volunteer service, donations, mentorship, and unwavering encouragement, these congregations help bring hope, healing, and stability to children, youth, and families throughout our community.

Their partnership reminds us that when people of faith come together with a shared purpose, lives are transformed.

To every congregation that has opened its heart to Place of Hope: thank you for being a light in the lives of those we serve. Your compassion and commitment are making an eternal difference.

Together, we are putting faith into action. ✨

Juneteenth, celebrated every year on June 19th, marks the official end of slavery in the United States. On this day in 1865, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation, enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas finally received word of their freedom. It became a powerful symbol of delayed but hard-fought justice, freedom, and dignity.

At Place of Hope, we celebrate Juneteenth because our mission is deeply connected to the ongoing fight for freedom, dignity, and restoration for all people. Many of the children, youth, and families we serve have faced trauma, injustice, and exploitation. Whether it is through foster care, anti-human trafficking programs, or family restoration, we are working every single day to bring freedom — physical, emotional, and spiritual — to those who have been bound by cycles of abuse, neglect, and oppression.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is precious, and that healing and restoration are worth fighting for — not just for some, but for everyone. 💛

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” — Galatians 5:1

💙 Imagine being a child who has experienced abuse, arriving in a new place, unable to communicate your needs, fears, or feelings.

For many children who come to Place of Hope, trauma has affected nearly every area of their development—including their ability to find and use their voice. That is why every milestone matters.

Today, we are celebrating Daisy, who is working with a speech therapist and making meaningful progress every day. Through consistent support, encouragement, and practice, she is building stronger communication skills and growing in confidence as she learns to express herself.

What may seem like a small step to others is a tremendous victory for a child who is healing. Every new word, every sound, every breakthrough represents courage, perseverance, and hope.

Speech therapy is just one example of the high-quality therapeutic care and wraparound services provided to foster youth at Place of Hope's family-style Neighborhood Campuses. Through specialized therapies, educational support, life-enriching experiences, and loving caregivers, children receive the individualized care they need to heal from trauma and reach their full potential.

Daisy's journey is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a child is surrounded by love, stability, and the resources they need to succeed.

Thank you to our generous supporters who make services like speech therapy possible. Because of your compassion, children like Daisy are not only finding their voices—they are discovering their confidence, their potential, and a brighter future.

Please join us in celebrating Daisy and her continued progress! 💛✨

☀️ What a fun summer adventure!

Place of Hope’s summer campers had an incredible day exploring the Jupiter Lighthouse and climbing to the very top for breathtaking views. The fun continued at Dubois Park, where campers cooled off, enjoyed a picnic, and even caught crabs along the shoreline.

A special thank you to Jupiter Lighthouse for the warm welcome and memorable experience. Community partnerships like these help create lasting memories and meaningful opportunities for the children and families served by Place of Hope. 💙

✨ Gratitude. Generosity. Hope. ✨

Today, we are overflowing with gratitude for the incredible generosity of Sanna McAuliffe and Happy on Main.

Through a thoughtful donation of beautiful, curated clothing, Sanna has given so much more than apparel to the young women in our care. She has given them confidence. Dignity. Choice. The opportunity to feel seen, valued, and loved.

For many of the girls we serve, receiving clothing that has been carefully selected just for them sends a powerful message: You matter. You are worthy. You deserve beautiful things.

What makes this gift even more meaningful is the heart behind it.

As the founder of Happy on Main, Sanna's mission is rooted in her own journey of healing and resilience. A survivor of childhood trauma, she has transformed her pain into purpose, creating a business and community centered on connection, empowerment, and hope. Through Happy on Main, she is dedicated to creating moments of joy, uplifting women, and helping others recognize the light they carry within.

Sanna understands firsthand the importance of feeling supported, valued, and encouraged. That is why her generosity resonates so deeply with the young women at Place of Hope who are navigating their own journeys toward healing and a brighter future.

Thank you, Sanna, for sharing your heart, your story, and your commitment to making a difference. Your gift is a beautiful reminder that healing happens in community and that even the smallest acts of kindness can help someone see their own worth.

Together, we are helping young women step confidently into their future—one outfit, one connection, and one act of love at a time. 💕✨
