Bigfoot has been spotted on the fairways! Join us for the 2026 Palm Bay Recreation Fall Golf Classic, presented by Storm Busters, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at The Habitat Golf Course.

Proceeds from the Golf Classic directly help support Palm Bay Recreation community events and programs, helping us continue to provide fun, fitness, friendship, and recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. Feeling generous? Sponsorships help stretch that support even further, with hole sponsorships starting at $100!

Early registration is $80 per individual or $300 per foursome when paid before October 3. Registration paid on October 3 is $90 per individual or $340 per foursome.

Our sincere gratitude to American Legion Post #117 for providing the City of Palm Bay with a Missing Man Table as a tribute display within Building A. Tomorrow, Friday, September 11th, this impactful tribute will be on display alongside our Empty Boots Memorial Table for the Patriot Day Remembrance Ceremony in Sacrifice Park. 25 years later, we will be gathering as a community to honor the lives lost, recognize the courage and sacrifice of the heroes who answered the call, and reflect on the strength and unity that emerged in the days that followed.

Please join us on Friday, September 11, at Sacrifice Park, located between City Hall and the DeGroodt Library (120 Malabar Rd SE). We kindly ask attendees to arrive by 8:15am as the ceremony will begin promptly at 8:30 AM and will feature guest speakers, moments of reflection, and a shared opportunity to remember this solemn chapter in our nationโ€™s history.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. We honor. We stand together.

Registration for our next pickleball mixer on Monday, September 14 is now open. Register online at playonline.palmbayfl.gov. There are still a limited number of spaces available.

Pickleball Mixers are a fun way to play with new people and develop your skills. Players will have a different teammate for each game and play against different players each game.

Awards will be given in the categories of top male and top female, as well as one random winner! This month's prizes will include gift certificates from NCG Cinemas and Jersey Mike's Subs.
