The Palestine Public Library will be open Saturday, September 5 and closed on Monday September 7 for Labor Day! The bookdrop located at the rear entrance of the library is open 24/7.

In observance of Labor Day, the following City of Palestine offices and facilities will be closed on September 7, 2026. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

City Hall departments and facilities closed include:

• Development Services
• Emergency Management Office
• Finance
• Fire Administration
• Human Resources
• Main Street Offices
• Municipal Court
• Palestine Economic Development
• Palestine Library

• Visitors Center
• Warehouse Services

🗑️ Waste Connections will operate as normal.
🌿 The Compost Site will be open on Saturday, September 5, 2026.
