🦟 Mosquitoes Can Spread Illness — Protect Yourself!

Mosquitoes are more than just a nuisance. They can spread illness, and just a small amount of standing water can provide a place for mosquitoes to breed.

Help protect yourself, your family, and your community by taking a few simple steps:

🪣 Eliminate standing water — Empty or cover anything that can collect water, including buckets, toys, birdbaths, tires, pet dishes, trash containers, and coolers.

🏠 Keep mosquitoes outside — Repair holes in screens, keep screens on windows, and keep exterior doors and windows closed.

🧴 Use insect repellent — Follow the product label carefully and apply repellent to exposed skin or clothing as directed. Some repellents may not be appropriate for children.

👕 Protect your clothing and gear — Products containing 0.5% permethrin can be used on clothing and gear. Do not apply permethrin directly to skin.

A little prevention can go a long way toward keeping mosquitoes from breeding around your home. Dump the water. Cover the containers. Keep the mosquitoes away! 🦟
