We had a wonderful time celebrating at the Buffalo Grove Pride Parade! 🌈

Our team decorated our car with colorful balloons, streamers, and signs as we joined the celebration. It was a great opportunity to connect with our community, show our support, and celebrate Pride month.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and we’re grateful to be part of such a welcoming community!

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, The Bridge's Executive Director, Kris Salyards, trained YMCA camp counselors on trauma informed behavior interventions. By providing tools to better understand and respond to trauma, we are helping create safe and supportive environments where youth can thrive.

Thank you to our YMCA partners for their commitment to youth mental health and well being.

Happy Pride Month! 🌈

At The Bridge, we believe everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and valued for who they are.

Mental health matters for everyone, and creating safe, affirming spaces where young people can be themselves is an important part of building emotional wellness and strong relationships.

Join us at this year's Buffalo Grove Pride Parade as we celebrate inclusion, community, and the strength of LGBTQ+ youth and families. We look forward to celebrating with you!

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to thank everyone who supported our campaign throughout May. Whether you donated, shared our posts, attended an event, or helped spread awareness, you made a meaningful difference in the lives of youth and families in our community.

Together, we raised awareness about the importance of mental health and the impact that accessible support services can have on creating emotional wellness, strong relationships, and successful futures.

While Mental Health Awareness Month may be ending, the conversation doesn’t stop here. Mental health matters every day of the year, and The Bridge remains committed to providing hope, support and resources for those who need them most.

Thank you for joining us in making mental health a priority and helping build a community where every young person feels supported, connected, and valued. 💚
