Public Works Forestry crews have been cleaning up damaged parkway trees and limbs that fell from parkway trees during this week’s storms, with a priority on clearing streets and sidewalks to ensure they are passable.

Crews are picking up debris from parkway trees only. To report parkway tree damage, call Public Works at (847) 705-5200 or submit a Request for Action at https://esuite.palatine.il.us/esuite.requestforaction/default.aspx and select "Tree Problems".

Branches and limbs from trees on private property will not be collected. Residents with private brush to dispose of should process it for their weekly household yard waste collection or hire a contractor to haul it away.

For yard waste collection guidelines or more information, visit https://www.palatine.il.us/670/Yard-Waste or call Public Works at (847) 705-5200.
