Due to hazardous road conditions across the district, Johnson County School District will be closed today, Tuesday, March 17. This will be a Traditional Snow Day.

Golden Eagle Community,

Due to unexpected snowfall, Johnson County Schools will dismiss early today to ensure our Golden Eagles arrive home safely.

Elementary schools will dismiss at 1:30 PM.
Middle and high schools will dismiss at 1:50 PM.

As we begin the week, we wanted to share a quick calendar reminder following our post last week.

The district calendar was amended in August 2025, and Monday, March 16 will be a regular school day for students.

Our district Academic Day (No School for Students) will take place on Monday, March 23, as reflected on the amended school calendar, and aligns with the Governor’s Cup Finals and Awards.

We look forward to seeing all of our Golden Eagles at school tomorrow!
