Morley Library upholds intellectual freedom, offering equal access to information and diverse points of view. Tuesday, Sept. 15 is National Voter Registration Day, and Morley Library is a partner! Celebrate democracy by helping us get every eligible voter registered and for their next trip to the ballot box in 2026 and beyond. Stop by our table in the lobby on Tuesday for assistance with registering to vote or checking your registration and updating it if needed.

Can't make it to the library tomorrow? We always have voter registration forms available and all Ohio public libraries are designated registration locations where completed forms can be dropped off for delivery to the Board of Elections. The voter registration deadline is Monday, Oct. 5, for the Nov. 3 election.

September is all about back-to-school, the first signs of autumn, and... Library Card Sign-Up Month! Here are some quick library card facts:

🟡All residents of Ohio are eligible to get a free library card at any Ohio public library.

🟡It's easy to get a Morley Library card! Just present your valid photo ID such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport. If your ID shows a former address, present a utility bill or other piece of mail showing your name & current address.

🟡Morley Library cards are available to all ages. Children & teens ages 17 or younger must have a parent or legal guardian provide a valid photo ID and signature.

🟡For access to e-media only, people ages 18+ can opt for a free Morley Library e-card instead of a regular card.

🟡¡Obtener una tarjeta de la Biblioteca Morley es muy fácil! Solo necesitas presentar una identificación oficial con foto actual, como una licencia de conducir, una identificación estatal o un pasaporte. Si tu identificación no muestra tu dirección actual, presenta una factura de servicios públicos u otro documento de correo que indique tu nombre y dirección actual.
