Water System Update

Power has now been restored by HELCO, a big mahalo to the crews who worked throughout the night to repair the downed power lines. Our system is currently back on HELCO power, and our backup generator remains operational if needed.

A special thank you again to Mark, who spent many hours throughout the night ensuring the system continued operating safely.

Please continue to conserve water as the storm continues, and please notify us if you see any damage to water lines or suspect plumbing issues at your home or in your neighborhood.

Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Water System Update

A huge shout out to Mark, who has been out in this storm working diligently to locate parts and get our backup generator running again. The system is now back online for the time being and we still have water in the tank.

However, with the high winds, and the power still out we ask that you continue to refrain from non-essential water use so we can maintain a safe level of water in the system.

If your home or a neighbor’s home has suffered significant damage and you suspect plumbing or water line damage, please shut off the water at your meter box and notify us as soon as possible.

If you see trees down and suspect damage to water mains, please notify the office so we can make repairs or isolate the area and continue supplying safe drinking water to the rest of the subdivision.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support while we work through these conditions.

Emergency Water Notice – Effective Immediately for Hawaiian Beaches Customers

Please reduce water usage to emergency use only.

Our backup generator has failed, and there are downed power lines on Punawai Street. Because of this, we currently have no power to our wells and are unable to refill our water tank. Once the tank is empty, water service will be interrupted until HELCO is able to restore power.

Please conserve as much water as possible and be mindful of your neighbors so we can extend the available supply for the community.

We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Due to widespread power outages from the Kona storm, our system is currently operating on our backup generator.

Please make sure you have water on hand for drinking and sanitary purposes. We ask that you refrain from non-essential water use throughout the day so we can maintain a safe level of water in the system.

Our team is on standby and prepared to respond to any water line breaks as soon as it is safe to do so.

If phone lines go down, we will post an emergency cell phone number for customer contact.

During Iselle, we were able to reach most customers through our page. Please help spread the word to friends and neighbors in Hawaiian Beaches Subdivision to follow our page by sharing this post so we can continue to keep everyone informed.

Stay safe, everyone.
