Page Fire Department is saddened by the tragic helicopter crash that took the lives of two Arizona Department of Public Safety Officers last night. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, colleagues, and all those impacted by this tragedy. Their dedication to serving and protecting our communities will never be forgotten.

On 11-28-2025 at approximately 3 in the afternoon, ‘B’ shift was dispatched to a report of a possible attic fire with smoke coming out of the residence. On arrival, crew made entry, pulling an attack line inside the structure. A search was conducted ensuring there was no one inside the residence. Crews located the fire in the attic and extinguished the fire. They remained on scene searching for any hidden fires, performed overhaul ensuring the fire was extinguished. There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.

Over the past couple weeks our academy recruits have been busy. They have climbed our ladder truck at full length, had their first live burn where they encountered fire in controlled environment for the first time, and have had a lot of sets and reps, pulling hand lines. The work is starting to pay off. With only two left, it’s time to keep up the hard work!!

Meet our new recruits! Holly Sullivan, Dillon Oberbeck, and John Enneking. On October 6th they started their 9 week fire academy for recruit class 25-1. Over the past two weeks they have been busy in the classroom and have been out performing skills. The hard work will continue over the next several weeks. Congratulations and keep it up!

JUST IN: Timber Mesa Fire & Medical District says its department lost another firefighter in a deadly crash this morning, just weeks after two other firefighters were killed in a crash along State Route 260.
