How Does The Half-Price Rain Barrel Sale Work?
You pre-order your rain barrel(s) and then pick up locally.
We’ll be holding two distribution events this year, one in San Mateo on October 17 and one in Half Moon Bay on October 24, so choose the location and date that works best for you! Once you’ve ordered, the pickup location you selected is the only date and location where you can pick up your purchase. Your barrel will not be available on the other date or at the other location.
If you cannot personally attend, you may send a relative, neighbor, or friend on your behalf, as long as they have your name and sales order number. We do not ship barrel(s) to your address.
Follow these steps below to secure your barrel(s).
1. Visit this page on the Flows To Bay website: flowstobay.org/bulk-rain-barrel-program
2. Scroll to and select the "Purchase Your Rain Barrel" button.
3. Select your location for pickup:
October
17 in San Mateo.
October
24 in Half Moon Bay.
4. Complete
the Agreement Form for your selected location.
5. Make your payment
for your rain barrel(s) securely online.
6. Pick up your barrel(s) on
your selected date at your selected location
between 9 am
to 12 pm.
Note: Rain barrel sales close at 11 pm on October 4 for the San Mateo distribution and at 11 pm on October 11 for the Half Moon Bay distribution. Sales can close sooner if we run out of stock—get yours before they're gone!
We also encourage you to apply for the rain barrel rebate after barrel purchase and installation, which can cover up to 100% of the per barrel price (pre-tax) for qualifying applicants! Click here for information on the rain barrel rebate process and installation requirements.
