Monday kicks off Summer Discovery 2026! ☀️📚

Free summer meals will be available for all community children ages 18 and under, as well as students attending summer school and SACC! 🍎

Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center, Coleman Elementary, Nike Elementary, Zitzman Elementary, and Pacific High School will serve meals Monday through Friday from June 1 through August 7. (These locations will be closed June 19 and July 1-3).

➡️ Breakfast: 7:00 to 7:30am at Pacific High School

➡️ Breakfast: 8:00 to 8:30am at Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center, Coleman Elementary, Nike Elementary, and Zitzman Elementary

➡️ Lunch: 11:30am to 12:00pm at Pacific High School

➡️ Lunch: 12:00 to 12:30pm at Doris Hoffman Early Learning Center, Coleman Elementary, Nike Elementary, and Zitzman Elementary

Pacific Intermediate and Riverbend Middle School will serve meals Monday through Friday, June 1-30. (These locations will be closed June 19).

This year was truly one for the books! 💜🤍
We made so many wonderful memories, shared lots of laughs, and celebrated so many successes together. This week was filled with fun, friendship, and special moments as we wrapped up an amazing school year.

Our Kindergarten Graduation was a huge success! 🎓💜🤍

Thank you to all of the parents and families who came to celebrate and watch their little graduates shine. We are so proud of all our kindergarten students and the incredible growth they have made this year.

A special thank you to Mrs. Franzen for organizing such a wonderful performance, and to all of our kindergarten teachers and staff members who helped make this event so memorable.

Mrs.Lee's Legacy of Love Scholarship Recipient

We are honored to present the second annual Mrs. Lee’s Legacy of Love Scholarship, created by the Zitzman Elementary staff in memory of Mrs. Rhonda Lee, a beloved teacher who left a lasting impact on our school and community.

Mrs. Lee inspired children to believe in themselves through her kindness, love of literacy, and dedication to building meaningful relationships with every student. This $500 scholarship is awarded each year to a Pacific High School senior pursuing a career in education who reflects the qualities Mrs. Lee embodied.

This year’s recipient shared how being a student in Mrs. Lee’s classroom inspired her dream of becoming a teacher. She has also mentored kindergarten students at Zitzman and hopes to create a classroom where every child feels supported and valued.

On behalf of the Zitzman Elementary staff and the Lee family, we are proud to present the 2025 Mrs. Lee’s Legacy of Love Scholarship to **Lynnlee Besancenez**!

We have just **4 days left in the 2025–2026 school year!**

Our final Chief Weekly of the year is here, and what an incredible year it has been. As we head into our last week together, this edition is filled with important end-of-year information, celebrations, award assembly details, summer opportunities, and a heartfelt message of gratitude from our Zitzman team.

Thank you for the partnership, support, encouragement, and love you have poured into our school community this year. We are so proud of all our Chiefs and the growth, memories, and moments we shared during our **“Rise Up and Shine On!”** year. ✨

Yesterday, we had the special opportunity to welcome back the PHS seniors as they walked through the halls of their former elementary school.

It was a meaningful moment to see these graduates return to where their educational journey began. Tomorrow, they will walk across the stage and begin an exciting new chapter.

We are so proud of all they have accomplished and wish them the very best in their future endeavors. Once a Chief, always a Chief! 💜🤍🎓
