Pacific Fire Protection District The Pacific Fire Protection District provides fire, EMS and rescue services across Franklin, Jefferson and St. Louis counties. Louis Counties.

The Pacific Fire Protection District provides fire protection, rescue and basic life support for approximately 15,000 citizens and covers 78 square miles. If you see this individual or have any information, please contact the Franklin County Sheriff's Office Missouri at 636-583-2560.

Mrs. Knight has been located safe and is in the care of family members.

Special thanks to our first responder community whom responded to assist.

*******Missing Person*************

Franklin county deputies along with other first responders are in the area of the 100 block of Enchanted Oaks in Robertsville conducting a search for a Missing/Endangered person.

The missing person is Identified as 73 yoa Lurae Knight whom was last seen on the evening of May 3rd, 2026 but is believed to have gone missing the morning hours of May 4th.

Mrs. Knight is a dementia patient whom was last seen wearing a black/white flannel shirt, blue jeans, and house slippers.

She is described as a white female heavyset with sandy brown/graying hair wearing thick eye glasses. She is believed to have left her residence on foot. Anyone with information is encourage to contact the Sheriff’s office.

Here are a few simple things you can do today:

✔️ Post your home address where kids can see it
✔️ Practice calling 9-1-1 (role play, not real calls)
✔️ Review what an emergency looks like

For those looking for a storm shelter in our area, take a look at MVR-III's post for the most updated information.

MVR-III STORM SHELTER INFO: MVR-III is committed to the safety and well-being of its students, staff, and the wider community. The MVR-III storm shelter is located within the gymnasium at Zitzman Elementary School (255 S Indian Pride Drive, Pacific), which will open at 2 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2026, and close one hour after the storm.

During times when the shelter is open to the community, individuals seeking refuge should park in the front lot for entry. To ensure the safety and comfort of all occupants, only certified service dogs are permitted inside the shelter. No household pets are permitted. Guests are responsible for their own seating, snacks, and personal activities. Visit bit.ly/mvr3news for more information.

⛈️ Strong storms are possible on Monday — use today and tomorrow to get prepared!

We encourage you to take time this weekend to prepare for the potential severe weather expected Monday. A few simple steps now can help protect your family when storms move in.

✅ Secure outdoor furniture and loose items
✅ Charge your phones and backup batteries
✅ Make sure you have multiple ways to receive weather alerts
✅ Review your emergency plan
✅ Know where you will take shelter

If severe weather approaches, seek shelter immediately in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor, away from windows.

Mobile homes and vehicles are not safe during severe storms. If you live in a mobile home, make a plan now for where you will go if warnings are issued.

The US National Weather Service Saint Louis Missouri is forecasting the potential for severe thunderstorms today, mainly between 10:00 p.m. and 2 a.m. for our area.

Primary threats include:

🌧️ Localized flooding
