The history of "Self-Locking Building Bricks" is a fascinating journey that leads to the beloved Lego blocks we know today. These building bricks were designed by Hilary Fisher Page, a British inventor who was passionate about creating educational toys that could inspire creativity and learning in children. These bricks featured a stud-and-tube coupling system that allowed them to be easily assembled and disassembled, offering endless possibilities for imaginative play.

Page's innovative design laid the groundwork for what would later become Lego. After his passing, the Lego Group, led by Ole Kirk Christiansen and his son Godtfred, discovered the Kiddicraft bricks and were inspired to create their version.

The legacy of Hilary Fisher Page lives on through every Lego set built by enthusiasts around the world. His vision of educational and creative play continues to inspire generations, making Lego a timeless and universally cherished toy.

Why do I remember super-specific details from movies and not what I just watched the other day? Psychologists explain that forgetting movie details is common due to factors like interference from other movies and lack of mindful attention. Frequent, similar experiences create blended memories, while distractions during viewing reduce retention. Memory is also strengthened by revisiting content through conversation or contemplation. Methods to improve memory include mindfulness practices, avoiding distractions, and periodically revisiting information. Interestingly, binge-watching impairs long-term recall compared to spaced viewing, highlighting the benefits of gradual content engagement.
