Yes on A - Tech for PG Schools Measure A will allow Pacific Grove's students to keep pace with technology while improving security on our campuses. Vote Yes on Measure A! Yes on A!

Technology for Pacific Grove's Public Schools

The schools of Pacific Grove are our most important asset, producing high achieving students and increased property values. Measure A will allow the students of Pacific Grove’s public schools to keep pace with changing 21st century educational technology while at the same time saving taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars in reduced borrowing cost

s. This November, we have a chance to improve our schools and our community by voting YES on MEASURE A! MEASURE A IMPROVES SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY BY:

Upgrading and maintaining educational software in every classroom

Increasing student access to computers

Providing ongoing funding to keep pace with 21st century innovations

Implementing a multi-year, District -wide educational technology plan

Improving classroom/campus security systems

Installing student performance assessment software for statewide testing/learning requirements

MEASURE A PROTECTS TAXPAYERS BY:

Matching the useful life of the technology to the term of the financing

Creating an independent citizen’s oversight committee to review and annually audit all expenditures

Guaranteeing that funds are spent locally and not be taken by the State and spent elsewhere

Inching closer to a 60% approval from our citizens! The next report will be released on the 14th.

While there are still ballots to be counted, (hopefully by Friday the 7th) the Yes on Measure A campaign team would like to thank everyone who helped make this result a reality. From the staff, teachers and administrators of the District to the parents and community members to all volunteered to educate Pacific Grove about the importance of the measure a sincere and hearty Kudos and Congratulations on a engaged, informative and above all clean campaign!
