Our Range and Plant ID members had an outstanding weekend, bringing home top awards from both the MJ Hanna Range Evaluation Contest and the Sonora Range & Plant ID Contests!

MJ Hanna Results:
• Luke Stuart earned 2nd High Junior and won $500!
• The Junior Team — Luke, Ryker Dean, Liberty Williams, and Grey Pierce — brought home 1st Place.
• The Senior Team — Klacey Dean, Justin Stuart, and Lawson Williams — placed 3rd.
• Lundyn Williams competed as an individual and represented Crockett County well.

Sonora Range Evaluation:
• Junior Individuals: Grey Pierce – 1st, Lundyn Williams – 3rd
• Junior Team (Lundyn, Grey, Liam Morrow, Legend Morrow) — 1st Place
• Intermediate Team (Liberty Williams, Ryker Dean, Luke Stuart) — 2nd Place
Sonora Plant ID:
• Junior Individuals: Grey Pierce – 2nd, Lundyn Williams – 3rd
• Junior Team (Lundyn, Grey, Liam, Legend) — 2nd Place
• Intermediate Team (Liberty, Ryker, Luke) — 2nd Place
• Seniors Justin Stuart and Lawson Williams competed as individuals.

Crockett County 4‑H had an incredible day at District 6 Spring Ag Day, competing in both Horse Judging and the Wildlife Challenge.

Horse Judging Highlights
• Grey Pierce – 1st Junior Individual
• Luke Stuart – 1st Intermediate Individual
• Justin Stuart – 3rd Senior Individual
• Kaylee Magness – 1st High Individual
Both Justin and Kaylee earned their spot at the STATE Horse Judging Contest! Kaylee also placed 2nd overall at the Sul Ross Invitational — an amazing accomplishment.

As a team, Crockett County finished 2nd overall. Outstanding work from all our competitors.

Wildlife Challenge
Crockett County was proudly represented by Holden Goedrich, Abel Deville, and Autumn Ramsey. While there were no placings this year, these three gained valuable experience and enjoyed the hands‑on learning that Spring Ag Day is all about.

We are so proud of every Crockett County youth who showed hard work, heart, and dedication. Great job, kids!
