The Alabama SBDC at Troy University, in cooperation with APEX Accelerator of Alabama, is hosting a virtual roundtable titled Veteran-Owned Business: Certification, Marketing & Growth on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 6:00 PM CT.

The idea behind this session is simple: help veteran entrepreneurs, military spouses, transitioning service members, and military-connected business owners understand how to use their veteran-owned status as a business asset.

Some business owners may want to explore certification opportunities connected to government contracting or supplier opportunities. Others may simply need to understand how to appropriately use their veteran-owned identity in their marketing, storytelling, customer trust, and visibility. This roundtable is meant to make both paths easier to understand in a practical, plain-language way.
