[2:45 PM 6/13/26] - Scattered showers and storms are and will continue to develop across northwest Arkansas this afternoon, possibly spreading west with time. The main impacts will be heavy rain, small hail, and gusty winds.

Storms have developed across northern Arkansas showing signs of all possible hazards. The latest SPC Update reflects this change. Have multiple ways to receive warnings this afternoon/evening and into tonight.

[7:50 AM 6/13/26] - A cluster of showers and storms will continue to move east across the area this morning, slowly weakening. Areas of brief heavy rain, small hail, and gusty winds may occur.

While weak tornadoes and large hail can not be excluded with the strong storms late Saturday night into early Sunday, the largest concern will be wind. Northern Arkansas will see the best chances of seeing gusty winds with the far NW particularly vulnerable to very strong winds.

A line of strong thunderstorms is expected to enter northern Arkansas very late tonight as a cold front moves through. The north will have the greatest chance of seeing primarily strong gusty winds with wind gusts possibly reaching 75 over the far NW. The severe weather threat will decrease further to the south as the night progresses.

A complex of thunderstorms moving east from the High Plains will enter northeast Oklahoma late tonight. Gusty winds will be the main concern with this activity as it weakens through mid-morning. Additional showers or storms across eastern Kansas could edge into northwest Arkansas.

SPC has updated the Day 2 Outlook. This encompasses a MCS (complex of storms) moving through northern AR tonight into tomorrow morning, and also captures Saturday PM storms up in KS/MO moving into northern AR Sunday morning as well.
