Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice, courage, and dedication will never be forgotten. Because of them, we have the freedoms we enjoy every day.

From all of us at Ozark EMS, we extend our deepest gratitude to our fallen heroes and their families. We remember those who gave everything.

As you spend time with family and friends this Memorial Day, please take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of this day.

This week, we proudly recognize and celebrate National EMS Week.
Today, we want to take a moment to thank the dedicated men and women of Ozark EMS who answer the call every single day. Whether it’s during an emergency, a routine transport, or someone’s worst moment, our crews continue to serve this community with compassion, professionalism, and dedication.
The long hours, missed holidays, sleepless nights, and difficult calls often go unseen by the public — but the impact you make is felt throughout our community every day.
To our Ozark EMS personnel: thank you for the sacrifices you make, the care you provide, and the pride you take in serving others. We are incredibly grateful for each of you.
We also want to recognize and thank ALL EMS responders everywhere — paramedics, EMTs, dispatchers, flight crews, first responders, educators, supervisors, and support staff — for everything you do in every capacity. Your service truly makes a difference.
Happy National EMS Week from Ozark EMS. đź’™

Join us in congratulating Derek Turner on passing his National Registry and officially becoming a Paramedic! 🚑👏

We had the privilege of hiring Derek as a brand new EMT, and it has been incredible to watch his growth, dedication, and commitment to this field evolve into the provider and leader he is today. From day one, he has shown a passion for patient care and a drive to constantly better himself.

Now serving as one of our supervisors, Derek continues to lead by example and set the standard for those around him. We are beyond proud of all he has accomplished and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.

Congratulations, Derek! Your Ozark EMS family is cheering you on every step of the way. 💙🚑

đźš‘ WE NEED YOUR HELP đźš‘

We’ve decided it’s time for a change…

Instead of “Medic 1,” “Medic 2,” etc., we’re thinking about giving our ambulances real names.

Here are a few options we’re considering:

• The Ouch Mobile
• The Rescue Rocket
• Band-Aid Bandit
• The Help Wagon
• Flash the Lifesaver

We can’t decide… so we’re letting the community choose!

🚑 We’re Here to Help — The Right Way 🚑

We know it can be difficult to decide when to seek medical care, and we understand why some may call the station looking for advice.

While we’re always here for our community, Ozark EMS is not able to provide medical advice over the phone. Our station phones are maintained for administrative purposes and general questions, but medical concerns cannot be safely assessed without seeing a patient in person. Providing advice over the phone can be unsafe and falls outside the scope of what we are able to do.

If you believe you may need medical attention or are unsure about your condition, calling 911 is the safest option so trained responders can evaluate you and provide the care you need.

Your safety is always our priority, and the best way we can help is by seeing you in person when care is needed.

đźš‘ We had a GREAT time at the Career Expo with the sweet students from Lisenby Primary School! This awesome event was held at the CHS Career Center.

Watching these little ones get excited about ambulances, emergency care, and big future dreams was such a highlight. Huge thank you to the teachers, staff, and community members who invest so much love and effort into shaping these young lives.

We’re grateful we got to be part of such a fun and meaningful day! ❤️
