Life Enrichment Center at Oyster Bay A bustling community center providing daytime social activities & services for adults 60+, as well as evening programs for all ages.

We offer a social day care program for frail or memory-impaired seniors, and our fitness center is open to the public. Our Well-Senior Program offers resources to enable seniors to maintain healthy and active lifestyles. Services include lunch and transportation, social services, exercise programs, lectures, clubs, entertainment and more. Our fee-based Day Break Program provides quality, cost effe

ctive, Adult Day Care to frail and memory-impaired adults. We offer cognitively-stimulating activities in a comfortable, safe and welcoming environment while providing respite to caregivers. Caregiver Support Group meetings are offered days and evenings. The After Hours, the Evening Program offers evening activities geared for the Boomer generation, and includes exercise classes, social activities for reasonable fees. The Center is committed to promoting health and wellness through our programs. There's something for everyone!

We had the privilege of celebrating LECOB member, Kathy Gibson, at the 3rd Annual General Needs Gala. General Needs is a veteran's organization that serves homeless veterans. General Needs established the Kathy Gibson Youth Scholarship Award.

This scholarship reflects Kathy's lifetime of helping students achieve their academic goals. This is an annual scholarship for local high school seniors who perform a community veteran-focused project.

We are so proud of our member and good friend Kathy Gibson.
