Northwinds Symphonic Band performs at Morgan Memorial Park

7:30 p.m.
Under the musical direction of Helen Bauer and guest conductor Barbara Sherwin, this year’s program will feature familiar marches, patriotic favorites, selection from the King and I, and the music of Irving Berlin and John Williams.
Performances will include “When the Saints Go Marching In,” “ Flight of the Bumblebee and Sousa’s Harmonica Wizard,” “You Raise Me Up” and “God Bless America.”
In the event of rain, the concert will be held indoors at St. Patrick’s Church Parish Hall at the same scheduled time.

Fireworks by Grucci

9:15 p.m.
To close the concert and honor the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces, Northwinds will perform “Stars and Stripes Forever” while Fireworks by Grucci go off in the sky.
Fireworks rain date is July 5 at 9:15 p.m

Main Street Association Dancing in the Street : every friday night in July (weather permitting) OBMSA hosts Dancing in the Street. The premise is simple: we close off Audrey Avenue in front of Town Hall (in between Shore Road and Audrey Extension), we hire a DJ and have participants dancing in the street from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

4th Of July Festivities...

Oyster Bay Parade: The annual Fourth of July parade sponsored by the American Legion steps off at 10:30 a.m. on Church Street. The march will end in Townsend Park. (AWAITING CONFIRMATION)

Following the Parade, Oyster Bay Historical Society’s open house, at 20 Summit Street, and then visit Raynham Hall (house is open to the public on a pay-what-you-will basis)!

There are Fireworks at Sagamore Hill around 9 am as well as at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park (AWAITING CONFIRMATION)

Raynham Hall Presents: Free Outdoor Movie Nights featuring Sense and Sensibility

We are pleased to announce the premiere of our summer Jane Austen Film Series, beginning with Ang Lee’s, Sense and Sensibility, on Thursday, June 2 at 8:30 p.m. Set in late 18th century England, the film stars Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet as two sisters whose charmingly entangled romances come to life in Austen’s brilliant novel. The film will be shown in the Museum’s historic garden.

— Admission is free and guests are invited to bring a blanket and picnic on the lawn.
— Concessions will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Raynham Hall Museum.
— Blankets are encouraged. Guests with chairs will be asked to sit towards the back of the lawn.
— Smoking, glass, and pets are not permitted.
— The museum will be open from 7:00-8:30 p.m. for tours. Please no food or drink inside the Museum.
— In the event of rain, the movie will be shown indoors with limited seating.

PARADE Kicks Off at 10:30AM

South Street to East Main Street to Ships Point Lane, where there will be a waterside service.
The Parade will reform and proceed to the Monuments at the Town Hall for a final service.
