Since 1983, Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County, an independent Habitat affiliate and locally managed 501(c)(3), has repaired more than 300 homes and built 72 new homes for families in need. “Giving back” takes on a whole new meaning at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, a discount home improvement center. Whether you’re a homeowner, business owner, contractor or builder, it begins when you donate your new or gently used, surplus or salvaged materials to Habitat for Humanity. All donations are resold at prices far below retail, and you may even receive a tax deduction in return.
