Join Talbot Goes Purple, and spread awareness of substance abuse!

It’s our first “SHC Gives Back” day of the year and today we are supporting Talbot Goes Purple! TGP the ice cream is a blackberry ice cream with black raspberry ripple and fudge chunks—yummy! A portion of our sales today will be donated to Talbot Goes Purple, a local initiative dedicated to raising awareness around the opioid epidemic. Come show your support and get some delicious ice cream! 🍦💜

This morning, Commission President Greer, the Oxford Fire Department, the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office, First Responders and members of our community joined the Talbot County Council to honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

Talbot County Council President Callahan reminded us of the importance of kindness, service, and looking out for one another. We never know when we may need the help of a neighbor, a first responder, or our entire community.

Today, we remember. We honor. And we recommit ourselves to standing together in service to one another.

Never forget. 🇺🇸
