Our PTO dollars don’t just support events—they help us celebrate the incredible students who make OHS such a special place! ⚡️

Today, we’re highlighting another PTO-supported tradition that we’re especially proud of: our Title IX Breakfast! 🏆💙💛

Each year, we gather to celebrate ALL of our amazing female athletes—from 7th through 12th grade! 🎉🏐🏀⚽️🏃‍♀️🥎🏊‍♀️🎾📣

And this is no small breakfast—we’re serving around 600 of our female athletes! 💙💛

This special morning is about more than breakfast. It’s an opportunity to recognize the dedication, hard work, teamwork, and accomplishments of the young women who represent our school. It’s also a chance for our middle school and high school athletes to come together, celebrate their teams, and be reminded just how proud we are of them. 🏆💪

Our PTO helps make this celebration possible by:
🥞 Providing breakfast for female athletes, 7th–12th grade
💙 Serving breakfast alongside some of our awesome OHS staff and athletic directors
📸 Capturing photos of each of our all-female sports teams and their amazing coaches
🏆 Celebrating the coaches who pour so much time and heart into these athletes
💛 Creating a special opportunity for our Chargers to come together and celebrate one another

One of our favorite parts of the morning is seeing all of our female sports teams represented together and getting those team photos that showcase the incredible young women and coaches who make up our Charger family! 📸💙💛

Our PTO dollars do so much more than buy donuts for our teachers (although, let’s be honest, teacher donuts are pretty great too! 🍩😉).

Your support of our Check It Chargers fundraiser helps fund meaningful school and student initiatives throughout the year—and today, we’re highlighting one that brings our OHS community together in a special way: the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. 🎀

Each October, OHS students and staff come together to walk in support of breast cancer awareness, standing together in hope, compassion, and solidarity. 💕🎀

The PTO helps make this event possible by:
🥣 Providing and serving breakfast before school
🎀 Assisting with the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk around OHS
💗 Helping create a meaningful opportunity for our school community to come together

❗️❗️Attendance adds up... even when it’s an early checkout.
September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we’ve had several questions about early checkout times. Hopefully this helps explain the 66% attendance threshold and when an early checkout may affect your child’s attendance for the day.⏱️

🎉 OHS is celebrating BIG! 🎉

Oxford High School had the 7th highest English II proficiency score among all high schools in the state! 📚🏆

This incredible accomplishment is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our students and teachers. We are so proud of the commitment to excellence happening at OHS! 💙

To celebrate, the OHS PTO surprised our amazing teachers with a cake! 🎂 Thank you to our PTO for helping us celebrate this well-deserved achievement and, most importantly, for always supporting our teachers and students.
