🚧 DETOUR NOTICE – CHURCH STREET 🚧
πŸ“… June 22–25, 2026

H.G. Reynolds Co. would like to notify residents and motorists of upcoming work on Church Street.

Work will begin at the Hillsboro Street/Church Street intersection and continue toward the Church Street/Lewis Street intersection. During construction, a detour will be in place during working hours only (7:00 a.m. until daily work is completed) Monday through Thursday. Friday will be used if needed due to weather delays or unforeseen complications.

🏠 Residents who live on Church Street will still have access to their homes.
πŸš— All other traffic will be directed through the designated detour.

At the end of each workday, cones and barricades will be removed, and the roadway will be reopened to normal traffic.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these infrastructure improvements are completed. Please use caution when traveling in the area and follow all posted detour signs.

Please be advised that road closures will be in effect today for the Juneteenth Celebration on Orange Street.

We encourage motorists to plan ahead, use alternate routes, and allow extra travel time when navigating the area.

Today, the Oxford, North Carolina Police Department had the opportunity to spend time with some amazing kids from right here in Oxford at the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central North Carolina during their "Cookout with a Camper" celebration.

Thank you to the Oxford Police Department for showing up, engaging with our youth, and building positive relationships within our community.
