With the recent promotion of Chief Grniet,

We at the OPD would like to take a second to give a thank you to Chief McGowan. He came to the PD as our Interim Chief for 4 months and treated everyone at the PD and in the Town of Oxford with nothing but respect, dignity and cared deeply about all of us.

Chief McGowan, thank you for keeping our PD moving forward during your time here, and mostly, thank you for treating us all the way you did. We wish you the best In all you do and hope your time with you wife and grandkids is nothing less than amazing.

We at OPD would like to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for OUR animal control Officer, Kelly Flynn.

Kelly is passionate, caring, hard working and much more. We have seen her shed tears for the animals in our town, show up when needed, give care and compassion to countless families in town.

Anyone that knows the world of law enforcement and Animal Control Officers knows that Kelly is THE BEST in the business.

Kelly, thank you. Thank you for what you do, you have made your profession better just by being you. You have set the standard for your profession. Oxford owes you nothing but gratitude.
