Thankful for these sweet young ladies from the South Granville High School volleyball team! They brought a donation and volunteered, in partnership with the David Hockaday Memorial Fund, of 396 pounds and $20. The donations were from their game Thursday night, so we thank everyone that attended and donated. We thank the family of David Hockaday for their kindness and continued support of many organizations serving the residents of Granville County. You are all so amazing!

Thank you to the Oxford Rotary Club for allowing ACIM-Area Congregations in Ministry Food Pantry to host the lunch meeting today at our pantry. It was a great time of rotarian fellowship and we got to share our mission with them. They packed a few backpacks and a few food boxes and graciously donated 41.15 pounds of food for the pantry. We appreciate your support!

Congratulations! The Duke Energy Foundation has awarded AREA CONGREGATIONS IN MINISTRY with USD 5000.00 for your project Backpack Buddy Program-Granville County. We look forward to partnering with you on this work and will be in touch to coordinate outreach efforts.

It was a special morning to get to share in the ribbon cutting for the CARES corner for Granville County Public Schools students and their families. The Social Workers have really done a wonderful job setting up resources for their students. Reach out and see how you can help!

Today was the start of one of our most exciting programs at ACIM-Area Congregations in Ministry Food Pantry, our backpack buddy program packing kicked off today with our volunteers from Oxford Baptist Church. They got a big surprise when they came in to our newly renovated backpack buddy section in the back corner of the pantry and I was so excited to get to share that with them! We are so thrilled to have them volunteer with this program that provides weekend meals to students in all of the Granville County Schools. Thank you for your dedication to serving our students! Thank you to Triangle North Healthcare Foundation, Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC, NC Community Foundation-Granville County for your funding support, we surely couldn't serve without YOU!
