Miami University Police Department (Ohio) We are a full service police department serving the Miami University Community. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We are located in the Ditmer Parking Lot, on SR73 across the street from the Horse Stables. We have a full time staff of 23 sworn police officers. We enforce local and state laws, provide safety and security to the Miami community, as well as offer educational programs through our Community Relations Team. As Miami celebrates commencement today, we would like to acknowledge our two interns during this year.

Olivia Shaferly is graduating with a degree in psychology and biology, with a minor in criminology. She will be moving on to graduate school next.

Patrick Wills is a member of the Miami cross country and track teams. He will be graduating with a degree in political science and plans to move abroad to start his career.
