Congratulations to AP Art senior Desi-Rae Van Houten! Her artwork was selected for the biennial Ohio House of Representatives High School Student Art Exhibition, sponsored through a unique partnership of the Ohio Arts Council, the Ohio Art Education Association, and the Ohio House of Representatives. Only 1 student is selected to represent each of Ohio's 99 voting districts, and the gallery exhibit will open at the Rife Center for a period of two years. In addition to having her work displayed at the Statehouse, Desi-Rae will also receive a monetary award at the exhibition's grand opening this fall. Well done!

Bus #70 is CANCELED for both AM & PM Routes today, Monday May 11th, due to a bus driver shortage. This impacts students who ride Bus #70 from Marshall, TMS, & THS.

Routes for Bus #67 are CANCELED for Friday 5/1/26 for BOTH AM & PM routes due to a shortage of bus drivers. This impacts THS, TMS, and Kramer students who ride Bus #67. Families will need to provide transportation today. We apologize for the inconvenience!

TMS- Entrance Project:

Talawanda School District will receive sealed bids for the Entrance Update Project at Talawanda Middle School in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by WDC Group.

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Treasurer, Talawanda School District, 131 West Chestnut Street, Oxford, Ohio 45056, until 2:00 p.m. (local time) on May 20, 2026, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read.

A non-mandatory virtual pre-bid meeting will be held on May 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Prospective bidders shall request access by contacting Christina Cave at [email protected].

Onsite visits will be available on May 4, 2026, and May 5, 2026, by appointment only. To schedule, contact Bill Hubbard at [email protected].

Contract Documents will be made available via Dropbox to prospective bidders upon request to Christina Cave at the email address above, along with submission of required contact information.

Documents may also be reviewed beginning May 6, 2026, at the following locations, by appointment: WDC Group, 23 South Center Street, Springfield, Ohio 45502; Talawanda School District offices and Builder’s Exchange.
