League of Women Voters of Oxford The League of Women Voters has two separate and distinct roles.

The League of Women Voters of Oxford in Ohio serves the people of City of Oxford and the Talawanda School District, which includes the townships of Hanover, Milford, Oxford and Reily. Voters Service/Citizen Education: we present unbiased nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process, and issues. Action/Advocacy: we are also nonpartisan, but, after study, we use our positions to advocate for or against particular policies in the public interest. To conduct our voter service and citizen education activities, we use funds from the League of Women Voters of California Education Fund, which is a 501(c)(3) corporation, a nonprofit educational organization. The League of Women Voters, a membership organization, conducts action and advocacy and is a nonprofit 501(c)(4) corporation.

🚨BREAKING: A federal District Court today issued a preliminary injunction blocking the US Postal Service from enforcing key parts of a rule that would have operationalized President Trump’s March 31 executive order restricting mail voting.

The court found that the rule was likely unconstitutional and unlawful — and that enforcing it would make voter disenfranchisement “practically inevitable.”

➡The preliminary injunction is in place through the November 3, 2026 election.⬅

The Joyce Hulse Manko Lecture Featuring Hahrie Han will be on Wednesday, September 16 at 7:00 p.m at the Wilks Conference Center in Hamilton.

Han, a political science professor at Johns Hopkins University, will discuss her book "Undivided," which explores how an evangelical church in Cincinnati confronted racial division and inspired meaningful civic change.
