Today, we celebrate and honor 14 remarkable members of the Owosso Public Schools team as they begin their well-earned retirement.

Together, these dedicated individuals have contributed an incredible 313 years of service to our students, schools, and community. Their impact can be found in countless classrooms, offices, hallways, buses, cafeterias, and behind-the-scenes efforts that have shaped generations of students.

Please join us in thanking our retirees for their service and wishing them well in their new adventures. Congratulations!

Owosso Middle School student leaders joined members of the VFW and Auxiliary organizations to place flags at veterans’ gravesites in preparation for Memorial Day 2026.

We are grateful for this meaningful opportunity to serve, reflect, and honor the men and women who gave so much for our country. Thank you to our community partners for helping our students experience the importance of remembrance and respect.

Our elementary Girls on the Run season has officially come to an end, and what an incredible success it was! 💖🏃‍♀️

We had a team made up of Bryant and Emerson girls who learned about friendships, encouragement, and teamwork.

Central had a full roster of girls who learned the importance of letting their "star power" shine and helping others shine brightly, too.

Girls on the Run is about so much more than running. It’s about building confidence, discovering inner strength, supporting one another, and learning about all the possibilities ahead. Our girls showed courage, determination, kindness, and heart every single week.

We are so proud of all of our participants and thankful to the coaches, families, and supporters who helped make this season unforgettable!

Today, we celebrate the Owosso High School Class of 2026! 🎓💙💛

Graduation Day is the celebration of years of hard work, growth, friendships, perseverance, and unforgettable memories. From preschool classrooms to the graduation stage, our seniors have written a story that is uniquely their own. As they turn the page to their next chapter, we are incredibly proud of the leaders, teammates, artists, scholars, and individuals they have become.

📍Information for tonight's ceremony
(General Public) 6 p.m. - Gates open at Willman Field. Many families frequently arrive early to "reserve" seating at 6 for the ceremony. Most commonly, families set blankets on the bleachers. We ask that families doing so please refrain from using adhesive tape to attach blankets to the bleachers at Willman Field. Guests with handicapped placards on their vehicle and OHS/OPS staff will be allowed to park inside the stadium on the East (visiting team) side. Please allow yourself ample time to park, as available street parking may be several blocks from the stadium.

(Graduates) 6:30 - Arrive at Willman Field and assemble behind the scoreboard at the south end of the stadium. At 6:45 PM, we will begin organizing students for the processional march. At the conclusion of the ceremony, you may pick up your yard signs to keep, and a folder that contains important documents, including instructions on ordering your official graduation photos.

(ALL Graduates and Guests) - Following the recessional, when all graduates have exited the "Teacher Tunnel" at the conclusion of the ceremony, you are welcome to enter the field area for photos, hugs, and high-fives.

***Seating for Handicapped Guests - Initially, we are reserving seating on the field, directly in front of the bleachers for handicapped family members along with ONE guest. Once we have determined that ALL handicapped family members have preferred seating, staff may be able to open up additional seats.

Please call the OHS office at 723-8231 with questions.
